Previous construction industry experience is not required to join any of our training programmes.
You can access our training courses in one of two ways:
Within any of the HMP Prisons where we train
To take advantage of the opportunity to get skilled and gain a qualification in preparation for release applications should be lodged with the relevant person in prison. This could be the Education rep, Activities or Wing officer. Most courses run for 12 weeks so this must be as far in excess of 3 months prior to release date as possible.
Within the community
Anyone interested but not in a prison can apply for training in the community on our programme. Contact us if you:
– will be leaving custody soon, or have already left
– are a relative of someone or connected with someone who has been in custody
– are from a prison or probation with people you would like to refer
