Training Programmes
Bounce Back is a training provider offering a diverse range of programmes focused on construction industry skills, including Painting and Decorating and CSCS training.
Our primary aim is to help individuals secure paid employment within the construction sector. As an industry-led organisation, we train people in the skills that are in demand on-site. By directly responding to this demand, we ensure that participants are well-positioned to seize the best employment opportunities, ultimately helping ex-offenders gain the qualifications and skills needed to transition successfully into the workforce.
We strive to offer a comprehensive solution, guiding learners within the Criminal Justice System into employment within the construction industry. Alongside qualifications, we provide CSCS training in various prisons and community settings. The CSCS card is a crucial “passport” to work, as it is required for site access. By obtaining this card prior to release, candidates can seamlessly transition into work upon leaving prison.
Our mission is to address the skills shortage in the construction industry, positioning ourselves as a trusted “go-to” provider for construction employers seeking dedicated and motivated employees.
“We recently had the privilege of touring the Bounce Back workshop within Brixton Prison, and we were truly inspired by what we saw. Having worked with Bounce Back for several years, we have always been impressed by their mission and the incredible work they do. However, seeing their teaching spaces firsthand and meeting their dedicated teachers and talented participants has deepened our admiration and passion for supporting their cause. Bounce Back’s unwavering commitment to equipping individuals with valuable skills and opportunities to secure employment upon release is genuinely transformative. We wholeheartedly support their work and highly recommend partnering with them to anyone seeking to make a meaningful impact.”

Employment and Support
Our team of Employment and Support Coaches engages with participants while they are still in prison, offering ongoing support for up to a year (or longer, if needed) after their release. Each Employment and Support Coach works closely with individuals to guide them through their journey into employment. They also collaborate with employers to ensure a smooth and successful transition into the workplace.
