Last week the Bounce Back centre at Kennington hosted the Annual Global Corporate Away day for William Morris Entertainment, the Talent and Literacy Agency. Each year William Morris select a few charities from many to support for this sort of activity. We were so delighted to be chosen that we prepared a day full of action!
The 15 enthusiatic personnel were soon put to tasks on arrival. Food was of course important so one group were dedicated to catering for the day – a challenge in itself with limited resources but the results were amazing. Four people, including the Head of HR, dedicated the morning to working with our guys to develop their CV’s whilst the remainder received a crash course in Painting and Decorating from Waldeab our trainer and his accomplished team in the centre’s training rooms upstairs.
As fully fledged as possible, our trainees and all but the catering corp, left after lunch to help with our work painting the Crypt of St Mark’s Church down the road in Kennington. After a hands on afternoon underground all teams reconvened back in the centre for the fantastically prepared and well earned supper.
It was a hugely successful day which was thoroughly enjoyed by all William Morris staff. Thank you for choosing us and do come again!
