(Individual Placement and Support) IPS is a specialised form of employment support that has been developed over the last 25 years and is being delivered by Bounce Back in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
The programme helps residents into employment whilst they are in the treatment or recovery stage of addiction/substance misuse and the objective is a well-evidenced approach that aims for sustained employment through competitive jobs sourced through local employer networks.
In partnership with the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID), London Borough of Tower Hamlets, and Job Centre Plus, we at Bounce Back work with job-ready participants in the Tower Hamlets area who are looking for employment working alongside local community organisations.
There is a strong focus on sourcing jobs through local employer networks and the programme works with both employees and employers benefitting from the support and experience of a dedicated Employment Specialist through the recruitment process and beyond.
